One example is a dashcam data verification project using Michibiki, Japan’s Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS). To bring satellite positioning technology into the mobility sector and create new markets, ABeam worked on this project together with dashcam manufacturers and roadside assistance companies.

By extracting the necessary information on the satellite itself and expanding opportunities to receive data through maritime ground stations, Fujitsu speeds up situational awareness and supports fast decision-making in disaster prevention and mitigation, ocean DX, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure management.

Covering everything from a fundamentals course aligned with the “Space Skill Standards” formulated by the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan, to hands-on exercises, the program combines close support from experts with practical content to resolve concerns about knowledge and talent, enabling a smooth entry into the space business.
