Venue Access

What is the easiest way to get to the venue?
From Tokyo Station take the JR Keiyo Line's super express (tokkyu) train for 23 minutes or express (kaisoku) train for 28 minutes to the Kaihin Makuhari Station. It is a 5-minute walk from the station.
Other ways of access include convenient express direct bus services from Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, YCAT (Yokohama City Air Terminal), and Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit.

What are the dates and times of the exhibition?
The exhibition will be held from Tuesday, October 4 to Friday, October 7, from 10 AM to 5 PM.


What time do you open and close for admission/ticketing?
Registration counter for admission opens at 9:30 a.m., and doors open at 10:00 a.m. In the afternoon, the registration counter is open until 4:50 p.m.
however because the venue closes at 5:00 p.m, it is best to arrive early to give yourself enough time to look at the exhibits.
Can you be re-admitted to the venue?
You may enter the venue as many times as you like as long as you have your admission pass.


I registered prior to last year's exhibition, do I need to register again for this year's exhibition?
CEATECT JAPAN requires visitor registration every year.
Please go to EventRegist ( (visitor registration site) – this site enables quick registration using your user name and password from last year.
I registered my membership, but have not received temporary registration e-mail.
After registering your membership at the on Pre-registration Site, your membership registration will be complete once you click the authenticate button (or URL) in the temporary registration e-mail sent to the address you set. Non-arrival of the temporary registration e-mail could be due to the following causes:
  • The temporary registration mail may have mistakenly been deemed to be spam by your provider etc. and sent to your spam folder.
  • The e-mail address you input when registering may have been incorrect.
I have forgotten my username and password for Pre-registration Site.
Username for the Pre-registration site is the email address you used to register your membership. If you have forgotten your password, you can re-issue a password from this page (
Is it possible to visit the exhibition on the day without pre-registering?
Yes it is, but the entrance fee will be JPY1000. Therefore we recommend pre-registering online.
Is it possible for me to use only a single name and e-mail address to pre-register for more than one person?
The CEATEC JAPAN pre-registration system requires that all visitors are pre-registered individually so the name and e-mail address of each visitor is necessary.
I would like to edit my registration details.
Login to EventRegist ( , and click the Edit button next to your name in CEATEC JAPAN information on the My Ticket Page to change the details of your registration. You can also click the Display applicant/Participant info button, and then click the Change selected session details button to change the session.
My admission pass has not arrived by e-mail. What should I do?
The Admission Pass for which you have applied will be sent to the e-mail address registered at the Pre-registration Site.If you didn't receive an admission pass, it may be because of the following reasons:
  • The temporary registration mail may have mistakenly been deemed to be spam by your provider etc. and sent to your spam folder.
  • The e-mail address you input when registering may have been incorrect.
Is it possible to have my admission pass resent?
Login to EventRegist (, select CEATEC JAPAN from My Ticket Page to download another admission pass.
Is it necessary to print out the admission pass and take it to the exhibition?
Yes, please print out the pass and bring it to the venue. You will be given a plastic holder on the day. Please put the pass in the holder before entering the venue.

Venue Facilities & Services

Will there be a place to temporarily store personal belongings?
Please use the coin lockers located in the venue.
Is smoking allowed inside the venue?
Smoking is prohibited in the exhibition halls, seminar halls and other areas within the venue. Please smoke only in designated areas.
Where should I go if I need information or assistance in the venue?
Please direct your questions to the staff at one of the Information Counters set up in the venue.
Is there a paging system in the venue?
As a rule, there is no paging in the venue. Please consult with the Information Center in case you have become separated from a member of your group or you are scheduled to meet someone.

Exhibitor Booth

What can I do if I don't want to carry catalogs and other materials distributed by exhibitors back from the venue?
A delivery service ("takkyubin") will be available at the venue to post materials to your home or hotel. Please check the venue map for the location of the Delivery Counter.
Can I photograph (with a camera or phone) or video products exhibited at the venue?
Photos and videos of the site as a whole are permitted. However, we ask for your cooperation in kindly asking exhibitors for permission before taking photographs or videoing exhibits or specific products. Some exhibitors may request visitors to refrain from photographing or videoing.
Will it be possible to purchase products from exhibitors at the venue?
Exhibitors' products will not be available for direct purchase at the venue.


How can I audit a conference?
Reservations for conferences can be made from the Pre-registration Site (EventRegist). We recommend early booking, as we will close accepting reservations when a session reaches its maximum occupancy.

What should I do if a session I would like to audit is already full?
Same-day tickets may be available if seats open due to a cancellation.
Please go directly to the venue where the conference will be held.
