At CEATEC JAPAN 2004 we use a dual IPv4/IPv6 IP network from VECTANT (global solutions Corporation), provider to the marubeni group, to provide Internet connectivity from the hall. We use the DynaEther 1Gbps access line provided by the Global Access Group of the Marubeni Group, connecting Makuhari Messe and the Makuhari Access Center to the Com Space Data Center in Nihonbashi. The combination of the Global Access' DynaEther and VECTANT's IP network provides a comfortable and high-quality Internet access environment to CEATEC JAPAN 2004.

As part of the CEATEC JAPAN 2004 Internet backbone, the CEATEC Event Hall is connected to VECTANT's IP Network. Using high-ranking core routers and BGP connections, we select the optimal routes for network traffic allowing us to provide a high-speed, comfortable Internet environment, Kissei Comtec provides a fiber optic connection throughout the event hall, enabling a 1Gbps connection to the backbone. Each hall has an L3 Switch, and each booth has it's own network segment, allowing us to provide a safe and comfortable network environment. As an additional security measure, we have implemented Symantec Gateway Security from security experts, Symantec. Within the hall itself we provide Symantec Client Security to the exhibitors that request it, allowing us to provide a highly reliable, secure network environment
