Currently celebrating a century of innovation, the Sharp booth at CEATEC JAPAN 2012 features a demonstration of AQUOS display models fitted with MOTH EYE low reflection film. The film is covered with an ultrastructure of miniscule cones standing 200nm tall with a diameter of 100nm and this prevents light from being reflected back to the viewer, as well as delivering a high degree of contrast. The 60-inch MOTH EYE low reflection film, featuring Sharp's hallmark technology, was announced at SID 2010, the world's largest international conference for display tech.
