- Nippon Chemi-Con has developed a new lineup of electric double Layer capacitors, the "DXE series" which have drastically reduced it resistance based on our original technology. The product is optimal for recapturing energy of vehicles, construction machinery, industrial equipment, idle reduction application, energy storage and battery assist application.
Main feature of DXE series its low internal resistance of 0.8mOhm.
Self-heating has been reduced, and the number of cells used in parallel can also be reduced. Heat resistance has been improved to 70 deg C from the previous 60 deg C.

- Nippon Chemi-Con's new lineup of SMD type capacitors is the "HXA series", a hybrid type Al capacitors using both conductive polymer and electrolyte (liquid type).
The product features low ESR characteristics, high allowable ripple current and high reliability specific for conductive polymer capacitors, and also features low leakage current and high withstanding voltage specific for Al capacitors. ESR has been reduced to one-tenth of the existing low ESR type capacitors, and leakage current to one-twentieth of conductive polymer Al capacitors.

The product has achieved in reducing the height to 4.0mm while maintaining its large capacitance by molding the element by resin without using aluminum case and sealing rubber.
