Safety Measures in the show venue
Considering the Great East Japan Earthquake, CEATEC JAPAN Management Office has reviewed the operation safety policy and regulations. With enhancing the operation safety policy and regulation, the Management Office will respond to disasters in accordance with its basic principle of "prioritizing the safety of visitors and exhibitors".
- In the event of a disaster, the Management Office will endeavor to ensure everyone's safety. To achieve this, we will promptly gather information concerning the disaster and provide that information on to visitors, exhibitors, and concerned parties and give evacuation instructions. We will also endeavor to conduct initial fire-fighting and rescue activities such as tending to the injured and cooperate with relevant organizations such as the fire and police services.
- The sponsors and exhibitors will work together to provide an environment where visitors can tour the exhibition with peace of mind. To achieve this, they will design booths equipped to prevent the foreseeable collapse of erections or earth leakage in the event of a disaster such as an earthquake or fire, and maintain a gangway width suitable for an evacuation route.
- In the event of a disaster, the Management Office will promptly provide information to everyone via the P.A. system or other means, and ensure that everyone acts calmly in spite of the circumstances.
