Introduction

The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) was established in Dec. 2008. The mission of WPC is to promote "qi" as the global standard of powering electronics products wirelessly. WPC currently has 90+ members including industry leaders of mobile phones, consumer electronics, batteries, semiconductors, components, wireless power technology and infrastructure such as wireless operators, furnitures and automotive parts companies. Qi products are already available in the US, Japan, and European countries.
