Products
Products-1
- Product Name
- Alps Develops SCGD Series Push-Push Type microSIM Card Connector
- Product Category
- Connecting components (connectors, switches, relays)
- Description
- Alps Electric has applied its accumulated connector mechanism technology to develop the SCGD Series of microSIM card connectors that allow the card to be inserted or removed with a simple push.
The card connector also includes an internal detector switch that senses whether or not a card is inserted. Detection uses the "normal close" method whereby the circuit is broken when a card is inserted (the detector switch is off). This method reduces power consumption when the device is in use because no power is used for card detection once a card is inserted.
Products-2
- Product Name
- Alps Green Devices Develops Liqualloy(TM) "GLMD Series" Power Inductor
- Product Category
- Passive components (resistors, capacitors, transformers, inductors, OSCs, crystal oscillators, filters)
- Description
- Alps Green Devices has earned a high reputation in the marketplace for the "GLMC Series" power inductors it produces for use in the local power supplies for memory, LCD displays, and other subsystems and which achieve industry-leading* low losses. Alps Green Devices has now developed the "GLMD Series" Liqualloy Power Inductor for high-current applications such as CPU power supplies. It intends to expand the series in future by adding additional variants suitable for other equipment that requires low losses.
