Sony's affordable ($120) accessory enables 3D loving consumers to enjoy 3D on the go, without having to pay a premium for a "3D enabled laptop." Hopefully this leads to Sony [and other manufacturers following suit] providing a similar product + software overlay so all laptop, portable device, and display manufacturers can provide a 3D experience to consumers at a lower price point, all without having to build separate devices for each crowd.
