Project of: Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA)
Japan's TV broadcasting has been entering a completely digital age, and the broadcasting and the social media are now fusing. In NHK/JEITA booth, new digital broadcasting services brought by combination of broadcast and broadband such as "Hybridcast" and "teleda" will be demonstrated. We will also introduce an importance of the broadcasting network as an information infrastructure at earthquake disaster. In addition, visitors can feel real experience of the latest "smart life," from our exhibits on the various methods of saving energy for consumer electronic products, e.g., a personal computer, television set at the demonstration booth.
