Part2 Details of Web Accessibility Standard JIS X 8341-3:2010

Part1 Japanese Web content accessibility guidelines has been revised as JIS
X 8341-3:2010 this summer, which is harmonized with a de facto
standard WCAG 2.0 of W3C. Prof. Watanabe and Mr. Umegaki, who were
editors of JIS X 8341-3 working group, firstly introduces Web
accessibility, then explain the role of JIS to improve Web
accessibility in Japan, the outline of JIS X 8341-3:2010, and how to
use JIS in developing and testing Web pages. This lecture is designed
for web accessibility novices as well as experts.

Part2 The Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee (WAIC) [1] of
Info-Communication Access Council has been working to improve the
proper knowledge, understanding and utilizing of JIS X 8341-3:2010.
This lecture firstly shows useful documents which were prepared by
WAIC. Then, the lecture explains, with a lot of examples, how web
developers should use these documents to develop web content which
conforms to JIS.
