Business Opportunities for the Future

To broaden business potential, CEATEC JAPAN 2009 will highlight the initiatives taken to advance IT & electronics industries through collaboration with local communities, as well as cooperation between venture companies, research and academic institutions. Efforts to enhance Japan’s Monozukuri by promoting academic-industrial alliances as the means to assist in the development of human resources will also be showcased.

JETRO BIZMATCH@CEATEC JAPAN 2009

Within CEATEC JAPAN 2009, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will hold JETRO BIZMATCH @ CEATEC JAPAN 2009, a business-matching event that connects representatives from foreign firms with potential Japanese partners in the fields of intelligent home appliances and ICT solutions. At last year’s BIZMATCH, 34 firms from 17 countries and 103 firms from Japan took part in 279 business talks, some of which led to product supply contracts and agency agreements.

Junior & Kids Electronics Workshop

October 10 (Saturday) only
This family-oriented workshop will be held again in 2008 to foster an interest in electronics among children and youths. Participants will attach circuit wiring to circuit boards using a solder, and then assemble their own gadgets, which they can take home with them.
