Introduction

Cermotech Co. Ltd. , since established in 2001, has been specialized in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC Powder) of low dielectric constant which is used for electric components of high quality, high frequency and high reliability. LTCC has a broad application in high frequency chip package and is likely to incorporate multi-layer structures and embedded passive components with minimal processing steps, thus leading to compact microwave subsystems.

LTCC powder is one of the key technologies of multichip module (MCM) packaging meeting the demand of high speed and high frequency for the development of electronic packaging, because of low dielectric constant of ceramics and high electrical conductivity of the cofired conductors. LTCC has a broad application in high frequency chip package and is likely to incorporate multi-layer structures and embedded passive components with minimal processing steps, thus leading to compact microwave subsystems. Cermotech has filed some of patents relating with LTCC and is preparing for mass production.
