The Life Contents Frontier defines content in many ways, for example, as media that delights people's senses when used as music or video stored in digital audio players, mobile phones, PCs, etc., or as services and systems that share content via the Internet and mobile network operators to enhance user convenience, or as an integral part of everyday life with wireless capabilities that allow for portable content enjoyment anywhere, in the house, at work, while walking, etc. The Life Contents Frontier pavilion will highlight the new roles and possibilities of companies from diverse fields that use content-related technologies, as well as specific examples of practical content usage and technologies provided by accessible interfaces that connect people and lifestyles from the standpoint of the user.

This year, the realm of Augmented Reality technology (AR) will be featured to emphasize the virtual information world of today's latest computers. High value-added LSI and interface technology will allow people to see, feel and experience cutting-edge digital content used to enhance a wide variety of expressive possibilities.

Promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) as an official event of the Japan International Contents Festival or CoFesta, the Life Contents Frontier exhibit will be held as a special event at CEATEC JAPAN 2009.
