Government Organizations Announce Projects at CEATEC JAPAN

Last year, Japanese government organizations used CEATEC JAPAN to announce the results of various projects, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' "u-Japan Best Practices 2007" and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Great Voyage of Information" and "NetKADEN 2007" projects. CEATEC JAPAN was also certified as an official event of the first Japan International Contents Festival.

We will continue proposing new possibilities for digital contents in shows to come.

Attention-getting Special Exhibits

In 2007, special programs and exhibits such as the Digital Contents Pavilion,RFID Pavilion and Listening Rooms attracted new exhibitors and visitors to the show.

Reinforcing for 2008

The number of categories in the Digital Network Stage will be expanded, opening new pathways for conveying information and appealing to an even wider audience.

We are proactively targeting new exhibits and exhibitors in areas including network services for business, network infrastructure, security services and digital contents.

Strengthening Information Dispersal

Dynamic media relations activities will draw more global media attention and ensure greater coverage of information from the show. Working with the sponsors and supporting organizations, we will also draw a wide variety of visitors, from industry players to consumers.

Last year saw an increase of 65 exhibitors from 2006, or 208 booths spaces. These exhibitors included companies in the PC, digital, Internet services and other new fields.

Many visitors are attracted by the fact that about one-third of CEATEC JAPAN exhibits are new products and technologies. Visitors seeking the latest industry information go home more satisfied every year.
